I like the idea of the tarp & sun canopy poles - they sell cheap tarps in the pound shops   & thats within the budget of a poor humble baker like me.

I'm with Kathmac.  We've been cooking outdoors this year until the OH got right grumpy stood in the pouring rain trying to do a fry up.    Oh how we laughed ... so, to save any further problems, I invested in an Outdoor Revolution utility tent.  Cost £34.99 and it's great.  We can get our little kitchen and cooker in their and loads of other stuff that we want stored out of the way so we don't have to keep it in the tent (Cool box, wahsing up stuff etc).

We bought a cheapo changing tent from argos 12.99 on Friday and put our folding kitchen unit and our cooker in there this weekend at Bruce's Cave. It worked a treat!!
