People took to using various plastic boxes in the showers at the site we use last year. All well and good until their little dears upended them all over the main floor outside of the shower cubicles and mummy didn't bother to mop it all up. Countless times I went in to shower late evening and was met with floods of water that I had to mop up before I could shower, in order to get into the shower without needing a snorkel and flippers.
Surely the best idea is to get them used to showering at home before you go and then you don't have all the hassle of boxes and mop ups, as I am sure no UKCS member would be as inconsiderate as the campers we encountered last year.

Each child is going to respond to showers differently. I've never come across water on the floors and if my little one ever spilled water, it would be cleaned up.
My child likes the shower somewhat at home, however, he does not like the scalding water coming out and hitting him when we are camping. Most don't stay on for long and he ends up getting cold as well. Therefore I will not expect him to use the shower there until he feels ready.
So in this case and obviously others here, it is not best at this time to get our children used to showers.
