Would it be ok to buy the groundsheet from towsure to put under my tent and am i right in saying to make sure it doesnt stick out further than your tent due to it catching the water.Im very new to all this and this site has helped me so much.

 yes me being a new camper used tarp last year but didnt realise i wasnt supposed to stick out and got myself a paddling pool in my living room. have cut it to size this year and made carpet from cheap picnic rugs sewn together had tent up last week is much warmer now and hopefully drier lol.
