Check out Woodlands.co.uk website the have details on planning restrictions for land and woods. 28 day rule applys to all, i would be suprised if the council would know if you added the extra day or two.
We are contemplateing buying woodland for the same reason, with woodland you can put up temp structures as long as it is used with the management of the woodland.
