The OH and i went camping to the Walks near Raglan in February. Fare play it was cold outside, down to minus 6 one night but as long as you have good bags and some sort of heat you can camp all year round. We have EHU and just left our heater on low over night and when we were out in the evening and the tent retained the heat and we didnt get a frosty tent.

Cheers,
Domino (Donna)

I love camping more than I love Take That!

We went last weekend, woke up to 4 inches of snow!! Wasn't cold during the night though! see picture in my profile!  We were in a tent too!

Just looked at your profile and the photo of your tent covered in snow don't think i would like that so think i will wait a couple of weeks  ti see what happens with the weather as i don't like being too cold don't think my old bones would take it these days

Funny thing is that it wasnt cold during the night! We all sat round a fire basket untill 2.30am!!! We didnt have electric hookup either, just loads of blankets!!
