I tend to buy a 5 litre container of water, that way I have water immediately I arrive and when it's empty I can refill it as normal. I tried all sorts of water containers, but none of them were worth a light and were either difficult to handle or impossible to use. Buying a bottle of water works for me!
Thats what we do Tel...when we are in one of the tents....

I've just had one of the collapsible water carriers delivered and my advice is not to bother. The theory is fine...foldable don't take up much space but in practice they are hopeless. They are a bugger to hold straight when filling and they just won't sit straight on a table top, tending to fall off the table if they aren't supported. Much beter to sacrifice some space and use a rigid container.
I think I was lucky welll sort of!!! I bought this collapsible water carrier and tbh I found it useless needed 2 people to use it and was just awates of space albeit very little space!! BUT the little screw tap to it fits 3 litre TESCO bottles of water, so now when we go we head to Tesco buy our water then get back to the site and fit our tap to it, Wonder how long it is before they change the design of the bottle I ask!!!
