/soz to hear about ur troubles (we did have the same problem), we keep normal routine but instead of put our toddler in her bed we go for a walk putting her in her pushchair. It takes the stress out of it because we are all walking. We also enjoy going for a wonder after dinner to.
There is light at the end of the tunnel as we have just come back from a weekend away where we didnt even take the pushchair and she went off fine.
Some great advice here but perhaps (if possible) you could have a 'home camp' in your back garden.......Not possible for all I realise (big tent/small garden etc) but sometimes having a play campout may just put their little imaginations at ease.
I can remember the first time I ever camped out in a mates back garden (I was about 10 or 11 at the time) Didnt sleep a blasted wink all night, heard every passing Wolf and boy munching monster
How time marches on.......Now I can't wait to take the grandkids (twins) camping with us.....Will warn all posters when we do go though
------------- Snowmen fall to earth in kit form........
Every day is a gift..That's why it's called the present.
Lol, our days are usually great , & nights a nightmare, but ours are due to hubby, not being able to sleep ! We've decided , girls & me sleep together, he either sleeps in his pod or in the living area on chair.....still wakes me up though.
Yes, Val's right .............. drug up kids about 9ish, every night.
LSD is cheap at the mo, but you'll have to wake them in the morning for their frosties. The beauty of this is that there will be no need to have take them out to the beach/fairground or anywhere really cos when they get back home they'll be able to tell their mates all about their hols with lots of trips!!
It sounds like absolute hell, and all credit to you for doing the decent thing and not risking giving everyone else a 2nd disturbed night. I wish all campers with tots that won't settle were so considerate of other people.
Sorry you had such a tough time. Maybe when he's a bit bigger he might settle into it more easily.
