White carrier bags torn into strips, tied on the guy ropes to stop people tripping on them when it's dark.
head torch - had 3, lost 2
matches (I always forget them)
thermal black rubber oven glove/pad, doubles as mat to protect top of plastic table. And have just found a silicon baking mat in the back of the kitchen drawer - never used as i never bake, which is also oven-proof so should be a great heat-proof anti-slide mat if table not on flat ground.
old towel or cotton rubber-backed (washable) door mat to keep some of the mud etc out of the porch
folding plastic crates
thermos mug
metal cafetiere or one-cup drip thingy (I can't stand instant coffee even if camping)
marshmallows and satay sticks for the kids round campfire
and finally, the folding chair with footrest and back high enough to rest head on, that I bought for OH's birthday a few years ago - yet he doesn't usually come camping, what a shame . . .
