ROFL.
They come from the same shop that sells Tartan paint and left handed screw drivers.
OK, almost got me there, lol.......but there were some climbing supplies called sky hooks too,
Sorry. The thread just took me back to my old boy scout days when I was sent for a long stand.
I have been waiting 20 years to get my revenge on someone lol.
He he when i was at junior school, one of the teachers sent me for chequered paint. I was mortified when i looked across at my classroom and they were all wetting themselves! Didn't live it down for weeks!
------------- Always Kate unless Jay is looking over my shoulder :) x
We use a hanging rail with sweater holders - works really well and doesn't take up much space at all in the car as the bars go down the side of the chairs and the holders fold up totally flat.
As there are only the two of us and our tent has two separate bedrooms we make a sort of walk in wardrobe from the second bedroom. We use an Argos clothes rail like the one pictured above but use normal hangers to hang anything like coats, teeshirts etc and the creases mostly fall out. Just leave any kind of trousers folded in the bottom of the holdall as it makes the weight on the rail too heavy if you put too much on it. We also line up all shoes, wellies etc in this wardrobe out of the way and this works very well for us although I appreciate you couldn't do this if you have a full tent.

That looks like a good idea, but how sturdy is it, bearing in mind i've got three clumsy kids.
This thread has turned into a lovely mix of helpful tips and amusements! I like the hanging rail idea but not sure if there's space. We will definitely be trying to air everything outside the tent to avoid condensation, and if it pours with rain, well then we will embrace dampness!
The one in the pic above is ok if you remember to take the screws and allen key to fasten in the botton rail which makes it sturdier () but I think the one from Wilkinsons or Argos with two rails across the bottom will be even steadier. As both of mine are broken now (I use them to hang posters or stock at shows as well) I might invest in the Argos ones.
I think i might try your idea then Christine, I have got a rail, but could probably do with a new one, and i've already got some hanging shelves so it won't cost much to give it a go.
