I get it.  Thanks.  Next trip away is not until 1 August.  But sure the time will fly by if I keep lurking around here!

Just used Delta pegs for the first time on a Montana.

I just used them on the main guys, not on the guys attached to the window vents which you will notice quite a few at the rear.

thanks for that question cassidyuk because i was wondering the same

i have ust bought 6 delta pegs (a strange amount i know but we are hoping to get 6 a month till we can do the whole tent) but do we need to peg everything with delta, we had a windy weekend in heysham and the front blew up we were gutted so we were going to peg the front out with delta??? i am very confused now until i came on this forum a peg was a peg lol.

A tent is like a newborn born baby..... to some they all look the same..... but if its yours it's beautiful.

I used blue pegs on the remaining guys and metal pegs through the loops.

Think i used 12 deltas on the tent itself. Dont know if more is an overkill but if it gives you piece of mind it at 99p each its worth it.

Blue pegs for guys & corners - the bits that will take most strain if the wind gets up.

The thin pegs are for helping keep the tent's shape (insofar as they're good for anything).

As my own blue pegs shatter & shard, as nylon/plastic pegs inevitably do, I move on to my trusty steel 9" rock pegs. I'd pit them against plastic deltas any day, especially crossed, although the SS Deltas look like serious bits of kit.

Used my new Montana this weekend for the first time. Did the same as Hairywol (and others) said. Also, used 6 deltas, one on each corner guy, and the last two on the second pole from the back, guys.
Rained and blew hard, but no problem at all. Really pleased with the tent, ticked all the right boxes.

Andy
