Lets say you need 10 Delta Anchors, the question is:
Is a tenner good insurance for the cost of your tent?
No Brainer!
You are booked in for a fortnight & get wiped out on the first night, so for a tenner you lose the diesel or petrol both ways, 13 nights site fee, what ever other equipment goes west with the tent & not to mention the grief from the rest of the family on the way home & for the next 6 months, as Caster says , a no brainer.
Have to say I agree with both of the above. I have a dome tent and have been in a situation that was very windy and didn't feel very happy at all with the tent doing a mini mexican wave. Bought delta pegs after reading reviews on here and it is so much more secure, I then just use my metal pegs to double peg the tent itself if I feel the need to. Get delta pegs you can't go wrong for what is a small financial outlay.
