No, its nothing to do with coming from London.  I live in a very small town, and the local cricket club were forced to spend £200 to commission a report into noise nuisance. It seemed people had complained the sound of leather hitting willow was just too intense.... I think some people have such boring lives, they will invent dramas to pep them up. Madness!!!

Must admit I am a little worried, as someone living in Leicester I do find it difficult to sleep without the comforting thud thud thud of the Police helicopter up above.

I guess it's just nice to know they are there. That & the fact that it helps drown out the sound of sirens.

Should we consider a fortnight in Beirut next year ?
