Iv had some cracking easters. On one of them we were sitting on the beach in t shirts.Another we did sit outside the tent in t shirts but the week before a family had woke up to snow on there camper!!
We have the coleman double comfort air bed as we have a double sleeping bag but son has a camp bed with a piece of covered foam on it Dunelm.
We camp all through winter in the Vango Quest. We also have Mountain Equipment Cloudwalker II sleeping bags (bl**dy brilliant). This combination together with picnic blanket under the beds and a blanket over the beds/under the sleeping bags has worked for us. If the site has a microwave (which more and more seem to be getting) I take the wheatbags - just in case. I am always scared of hot water bottles since one leaked when I was a child - just can't seem to let that go!!!!!
Take plenty of warm layers, socks and a hat and you will be fine. Often by the time Easter comes, the weather is mild anyway - hopefully.

Hi Susan
These days with the use of an EHU warmth is not a real problem well insulated airbeds 2 KW of heat and a 4 season sleeping bag will see campers through all 4 seasons these days, the problem early in the season and also late November time is the ground ,it as had all winter to get saturated and can quickly turn into a mud bath,so this is what I would consider if I were you, make sure the site you intend to go to assures you that the pitch is well drained and not saturated you then should be fine.
Good luck
Rex.

I went to cornwall last easter, it rained, snowed, hailed and blew a gale. Tent broke and filled up with water and I ended up spending two nights in the car.... best weekend of the year and off to do it again this year. I am better prepared though, hopefully more robust tent, new sleeping bag and a carpet for the tent made of vet bed which is very warm Of course I am also taking extra chocolate and beer this year, almost ran out last time and there is no problem that cannot be fixed by those two items

I'm going to try some of the spongy insulation stuff used under laminate floor under our aerobed - I rescued some from a skip last week
I think I've got some of the same in my shed.
Thanks for that tip

Easter 2 years ago was quite late, mid April, and we went to the Costwolds where we basked in the sun every day! Now last year was a differnt kettle of fish, Easter was mid March and we had snow in Exmoor! It was enjoyable keeping warm though...... Lol....
