Camping and Caravan Shops are like a magnet to me. Don't always buy something but get great ideas. Unfortunately we don't have any big stores down in Cornwall so when we are away I can't resist popping in to everyone I see.
------------- Don't know where I'm going but will be happy when I get there.
I'm addicted too, and anything to do with camping - we are lucky that we have quite a few camping shops around this area and I'm always trying to find an excuse to go to them. Glad that Dave is too - he's not quite as bad as I am, but nearly!
I have a caravan but there are 2 camping shops not too far away and right next door to each other , me and dh love to go there. We were so disapointed not to see the Maryland in the flesh lol. So this weekend to console ourselves we have been to 2 Caravan dealers and fell in love with the Bailey Ranger's Me with the 3 bunk one and dh with the fixed bed one lol.
We are toying with going back to camping (just think of all the kit i would need to buy ) or getting a new caravan. All this research is just the best, just hope we do decide and don't keep feeding our addiction by more and more visits to camping and caravanning shops
DH calls it my tent and caravan porn after seeing a post on the tent pic thread...
Towsure is less than 5 miles from home and another great camping shop 3 miles from home... often find myself driving round the roundabout between them thinking which one shall I visit today!!!!!
Hello - my name is Helen and I'm a camp shop addict!
I'm sure our 3 local stores think I'm casing the joint I'm in there that often, just wondering around looking at everything (and more often than not, buying stuff too!)
Just found out that a new store has opened at Portrack Lane in Stockton so I can feel a shopping trip looming (well it would be rude not to go and have a tiny look!!)
You are all so lucky to live near a camping shop I wish I did especially those ones with the tents up outside would like to camp there for a couple of days and browse around, the very large mountain of tents and equipment we have was got from many many happy hours of searching the net am getting to the stage of not being to find many new items, very very scarey lol.
Yes, I think we are all normal here. I don't just like visiting camping shops but spend ages here and elsewhere finding out what others have looked at or bought. So the addiction is normal. I live close to Merry Hill so trying to avoid Decathalon, Millets or Blacks on the way to the supermarket is a battle. Short trips to the nearby Towsure help to ease my craving for trailer bits. But of course, we just happened to be passing so popped in!
