You really can't trust the campsite reveiws either. This issue has a review of coopers site in edale. I love this site for it's location and therefor put up with the very average shower/toilet facilities (last weeken no hot water till after 4 pm cos it did'nt make financial sense to heat it for what seemed to be a very full field!). If you check camping mag. they give the facilities 10/10!
We started a subscription to the Camping mag 3 months ago. the first two issues arrived about a week after they where on sale in my local W H Smiths and we are still waiting for our free Ruck sack for taking out a subscription. I agree about the site map for 2009 both Whitemead and a site we are looking at staying in Aug(Home farm holiday centre) are not on the map.
We subscribe to this mag and quite like the piccies which get's you in the mood for camping. Some reviews are interesting if maybe biased, although there was a site review of Llantony Priory, back last year, with exactly the same picture that appeared in the "Cool Camping - Wales" book. Don't know if these are stock photo's that anybody can use, but it gave the impression the reviewer was there. We've spent time there camping and some of the information given was also incorrect.
Makes me wonder if some of these reviews are genuine.

well friends i have had a word about this with the editor he says it is only my view but i say to you all,if you want to moan tell them!! I would a gree with all of you and perhaps we should just not buy it then they might get the message.Popular camping from the 1960,s was brilliant but even then we had adverts just a fact of life. This mag on line is the future and the present but i am trying to get to do reviews for the said magazine and hope to make it better . Failing this this forum will do the trick!
