There ARE advantages of not having an EHU.

Like reading, talking to the missus, listening to the radio, taking the dog a walk to the pub, games etc!!

Plus the other thing!

I have no idea what you could possibly mean

Yes I know its May (lol!) but I saw 3c on one of the overnight predictions which is a bit chilly by my standards particularly as the OH is off colour. We only wanted to use EHU to take the chill of the tent late at night when getting into PJ's and early in the morning when little one wakes (often shortly after 5 am which is a chilly time to sit about-  ) and boil the odd mini kettle but I suppose I am thinking of late last season when it was dark at that time when it wont be now! We actually camped all last year without EHU, but picked it up in the winter sale having been given one to try late in September and finding it a nice treat, so I would like to use it, but we can leave it behind worst case. Anyhow now my OH seems too ill to go after all - tut tut- very thoughtless of him, so it looks like BH at home after all. Just as well I didnt book! Still secretly hoping he may make a speedy recovery though!

We must have got lucky, booked yesterday for a site close to the Glentress MTB course at Peebles in Scotland, no EHU left, but at £7 for the pitch per night, with three of us in our 6 person tent, we are happy campers indeed only £2.33 each per night!, there for Fri/Sat/Sun night, c/w with MTB's.

Hi, it may be a bit far out but we usually stay here (link) when we visit the olds in Ilkley.

Brown Bank is a small campsite basic showers and toilets but clean and the owner is lovely. My partners parents used to store their caravan there years ago and it is usually quiet.

Give them a call and tell them that the Kleppers gave you their number. they will know who we are.

Hope you find somewhere.

Always plenty of pitches in Scotland. Sun's actually coming out - maybe it won't rain after-all!
