Hi I just used my 4m bell tent with SIG this weekend at a festival - blummin' love it and you have nothing to worry about re: size as lots of other tents were way bigger. I have a cedar creek and my friend has one, brought hers and it is not much difference in size. Go for it, it is so easy to pitch (did this and put it away on my own) but the underside of it was wet so unpacked it once I arrived home and then dried it over the bannister - bit of a country smell in the house and will take a bit of hoovering! I bought an inner and will post some pictures and a review absolutely thrilled with it.

We were going to splash on one with heavier canvas, but they were all out of stock so after discussions we decided to get the lighter one from the dutch website...
was just browsing looking for info on bell tents and came across your post. We are in exactly the same position, sounds like we have a similar vw to you (westfalia set up ) and 2 children who are rapidly outgrowing the bus for sleeping arrangements. We have just come back from a fantastic week in Eweleaze farm in Dorset where there were all manner of bell tents (space absolutley NO problem here, no fussy pitch sizes just how we like it!). Anyway we are also considering buying a bell tent for next year - when I first looked at them I was surprised at the price, they seem too cheap and my husband agrees, thinking that we should go for the heavier weight fabric - just curious as to which you went for and how you are getting on with it, would love to hear!
