had a vrectra hatch but now a volvo v40 with roof box and love it as the size of car it not to big so you can still get it in out of small spaces with ease (on street parking at home) and i can fit loads in it

Sep long weekend Rome
October week. In Devon
We have a VW Transporter , you can't beat it 9 seats for passengers and loads of camping gear space , thats why they get used as commercial vehicles for airport runs and the likes. If you want room without the hassle of roof boxes and trailers these are great.
I have a discovery 2 with safari roof rack. There are 3 of us with grobal 600 and loads of rubish, carpets, tables ect. It all fits very easy with space to spare, all stuff in boot goes under cover and im sure we could get more on roof safely if needed.
I think the perfect vehicle for me would be the Nissan Navara with snugtop - no more wondering if everything will fit and just in case it won't they come with roofbars too
landrover defender 300TDI. cheap insurance, easy to maintain.low road tax,can run it on veg oil without any coversion needed.never get boged in on a feild, and when it will out last any other car if look after.
We have a Mondeo hatchback and with a roofbox get everything in - amazing how much stuff.
We are about to change it and apart from the Mondeo Estate couldn't find any other normal car that would match it for space, but as we have had Mondeos for the last 10 yrs we fancied a change... so next week we are getting a Zafira with the vertical load net so we can pack it to the roof. Hoping while the kids are little enough that we can slide the seats forward that we might just get away without the roofbox, but not sure...
Mondeo is all packed ready for its last trip before we trade it in or sell it (probably trade it though as we aren't around to show anyone it now..)
