eBay has made it easier for shill bidding since they have hidden ebayers id when bidding ie bidder 1 bidder 2 ect ect when you could see ids you could check to see if his mates are bidding the price up.
eBay do not care about shill bidding it makes them more money.

I use justsnipe also mainly for 2 reasons - so that I don't have to be be there at the time an item ends to bid and also to give myself a spend limit.  If I win then thats great if not then thats ok also.   Although I have only sold few items I personally don't mind snipers coming in at the last minute. C'est la vie.  If I want to have reserve price I can use that.   The thing with justsnipe is to make sure you sign on via the secure ssl link ( the one that puts https at the start of the address bar ).
