Childrens job when we camp - they have to clean off the deltas with the rubbish alu pegs (2 we take just for this purpose) and then they have to clean them on the old tea towels.



What - the children or the pegs...?

Oh, being more helpful, wet-wipes - for wiping hands when cooking and general cleanliness. Extra mallet in case one breaks, corkscrew, the tent (check you've packed poles, outer, inner, groundsheets, pegs, patience and a sense of humour!!!!

I like the idea of taking old tea towels to clean the tent pegs, the thought never entered my head to do that!! lol

Just been to Asda and they have cheapo knives and forks set for 50p!!

Some good bargains!

We finally pitched our new tent this evening, now rushing round trying to get everything packed(gotta find it first)!! Me and OH have argued already as he's misplaced the chargers for light and lantern

Still not had dinner, just ordered a chinese, I am knackered! lol

Ooh no we have that Couldn't imagine just sleeping on the floor anymore!

Just eaten my chinese, still cannot find either the mains chargers or the car chargers for our good lanterns!! Soo annoyed, now means we'll have to go and buy yet another decent new one! This time though I am taking control of putting everything away so we'll know exactly where everything is next time we need to use it all. I am soo annoyed with him
Anyone argue before they have even got in the car?! pmsl!

crocs !  I knew my obsession with them the other year would come in handy... now which colour shall I take ha ha !

I have gone back to my trusty birkenstocks this year and gone right off my crocs .. which is a shame.

I must remember to move the air bed stoppers from that trusty place I put them...now where was it !

Nearly forgot my son's medication One of his heart medcations is meant to be kept refridgerated but he will now just swallow tablets, so an emergency call to the doctors a while ago to try and order it in tablet form which will make life soo much easier!!

Just terrified I have forgotten something, keep looking to see if we have enough different weather clothes!!

Am sure it will become easier the more trips we do, no doubt we will forget something but will know better next time round, hopefully anyway !! lol
