Well I don't care what the weatherman says!!!

Just got back home after a glorious couple of nights in somerset. It rained for near enough the entire 2 1/2 hour drive down there. 10 mins before we arrived at the site the rain stopped and the sun came out. An hour after arrival the wife and kids were in the pool and I was relaxing with a well earned cool cider catching some rays, bliss!

From arrival to departure the sun was shining in daylight hours( and the campfire shone well into the night).

If I had listened to the weatherman I never would have left home.

Our luck is bound to run out soon but when you are on a winning streak you've got to go with it.

ha ha ha ha ha  we didnt break the duck!!!!!!!!!!!!! it rained sat'day evening while we were sitting letting the bbq go down with some beers. have to say tho friday and sat'day daytime were baking hot, great site and good company.. never mind we will do it one trip!!!

We got wet... very wet putting the tent up.  The weather report said showers... not downpours ffs !!  But then the sun shone and we had a few spits of rain here and there.  We nearly didn't pitch as I was not impressed with the weather, so glad we did now.  I have decided to ignore weather reports from now on !!
