Land Rover Show at Billing this weekend!

We'll be trying out the new Khyam Freelander, which looks capable enough.

At least there'll be lots of mud on the off-road course 17

I strongly advise you to put a canopy/shader over the door, to minimise the risk of water coming in at the bottom if the door is not closed properly, as I found out last Saturday!

We are booked for C&CC site at Polstead for a long weekend from Friday, and are actually considering deferring until weather calmed down a bit much to my annoyance 17

China Girl...I'm going to Top End Farm for the weekend too!

Not been there before, look out for the ugly cheap Tescos tent and a silver Vectra 17

It's supposed to be my first camping trip! And it looks like we'll be pitching in the rain! Sigh! I was also hoping to take the kids to Legoland so I hope it's not TOO bad.

Well,I shall look out for you then. I'm in a  small grey/orange Campus, with a red Quecha Pop up tent alongside.  Will be in a group of tents, celebrating my cousin's Birthday, camping party.(we're not rowdy party animals btw17)  I hope you like it, we all do, and we keep going back every year. (Word of warning, the toilet block is a bit grim, but adequate for a weekend stay. I hear they are building a new toilet block over winter, ready for next season though.)

Thanks, I'll bear that in mind.

Well, the tent survived the weekend, and so did we.

We were camped on the farm next to the Aquadrome, and the wind didn't half come through in the early hours of Saturday morning. We also had some pretty heavy downpours over the weekend.

However, the Freelander was great, with deltas on all the guys and rock pegs on the base. We got a little bit of leakage through the zip, a few drips and nothing to fuss about really, but I'm hoping some seam sealer will do the trick.

We even managed to get the tent down in the dry, but I may still open it out in the garage for an airing.
