We have an argos pump that you use with a cigarette lighter in the car and it can blow your beds up with the nozzels on the front or if you need to deflate anything put the nozzels on the top of the pump and it will suck the air out of the bags.  We have done this now for several trips and find that it works fantastic.

Hope this helps.

doyouknow when you pack clothes in sucky bags do they come out really creased?

Yes.  But then again I'm not that bothered!!!  In most of my clothes the creases just fall out after a while.

You can probably tell I'm not an "everything must be ironed" kinda guy!

We always take our hoover with us (it's small but powerful) and sits in the footwell of the car.  So far we have managed to get all our clothes, towels, bed linen, 2 sleeping bags, 2 ready beds, all in vacu bags, and we may even get away with not having to take our roof rack this year.

Myself and OH can't believe that anyone would have such a large tent for two people - tell us we're wrong.

There are 5 of us. My husband, myself and 3, soon to be 4 children!

Loving our Khyam Ontario 8 with sun porch!
