My daughter at 15 months or-so. She's quick, but she had a ball! A full waterproof suit is a must for us (unless we forget it like we did two weeks ago - grrrr).
Thanks everyone! We are really looking forward to it - but guess what, the little one has now got chickenpox so we will have to wait until he's better (or no longer infectious, at least) before we can set off. I reckon the fresh air should be good for him once we finally get there.
Hopefully we'll only be delayed a couple of days though. That is the good thing about going camping, we can be flexible - no flights or hotels to worry about!
They certainly keep you on your toes don't they...
I hope the spots aren't too bad! I just wanted to say that we have an all-in-one and booties for our son who is now 14months and has been camping loads. He is walking now, but we started using them when he was crawling and they are great and work really well, but I wouldn't actually recommend using them unless it is cold. This might be because the suit we have is a little big for our son (we had to get a larger size as he's a bigun) and he found it a bit annoying and frustrating as the arms keep coming down over his hands
If it is warm(ish), just put your little one in something that won't be worried by getting wet - we use his swimming trunks - and let him go mad. Then have a big towel ready for when he needs drying off and a cuddle!
I'm sure you'll have a ball.
