I have notice that weather forecaster tend to edge all bets these days by saying there will be all types of weather in each forecast (excluding snow in the middle of summer but you never know lol). I usually go on what happens when I stick my head out the door/tent depending on what I am doing17.

Long term forecasts are a waste of time ..they change on a daily basis anyway and by the time you are away camping the day they said it would rain is sunny and visa-versa17

I'd go for Metcheck, or See what it says on the BBC then take the exact opposite.

The Weather Rock

120

This rock is the perfect weather indicator, it
never fails. It is more accurate than your local
weather person.
This rock is the living word and
is 100% correct.
This is how it works:

a dry rock means fair weather.
a wet rock means it's raining.
a dusty rock means a dust storm.
a swaying rock means it's windy.
a shadow under the rock means it's sunny.
a white rock means it's snowing.
if the rock is jumping up and down, an
earthquake is upon us.
if the bottom of the rock is under water it's a
flood.

most beautiful of all, though the rock is not
attached to its' existence, it doesn't mind which
of the above is happening.

This is as accurate as any i have seen17

That's brill.

Over on the Glasto forum I post on, metcheck has been compared to a weather fruit machine, just pull the handle and see what you get this time!

I'd agree on the Beeb though, they don't have the best track record.

My vote would be for www.netweather.tv

Forecasts seem good and the forecasters forums and blogs go in-depth for all the weather geeks out there

Oh, and Michael Fish does the video forecast over there!
