 All I can remember about my first towing trip is that I forgot I was towing....There is little or no discernible difference, and don`t try reversing, its not too difficult with a caravan after some practise, but nearly impossible with a small trailer.

Dear god, I hope that doesn't ever happen to us.

Seeing as it will be the first time towing I'll ensure that I can see the trailer some how or other to check that it isn't snaking around (even just a little).

Hi. Just a point with regards to your packing. Try to think about the order in which you'll need things when you arrive on site. If you pack the tent in the bottom, won't you need to unpacvk everything to get at it? Also, it's much easier to tow a loaded trailer than an empty one. It won't bounce around as much.

My husband has weighed all our stuff and it comes to 117.5kg (this is all to go in trailer). The heaviest is the tent at 13kgs the poles at 12.3kg and the pegs/mallet 7.2kg. All that will go across the axle in the centre.

The rest including aquaroll, loungers, kitchen shelving, cooker, windbreak, table and chairs will fit in around.

This is our first time towing so useful to read all the advice on here.
