We always take the suitcase single burner when we go for weekends but use the bigger 2-burner and grill when staying a week or more.  We find the little one does the trick quite well and is very efficient.  Never had any trouble getting cannisters and we usually find one will do a whole weekend but obviously that depends on how much you use it.

We take 2 with us when we camp. We used to have a 2 burner stove and a big gas bottle to hump around.

I find the suitcase ones take up much less room in the boot.
We've got a camp kitchen. The ones with the hanging larder on, ours also has a small table thing attached so i've got the room for the 2 cookers if needed.

I'd never go back to our original type cooker i find the suitcase ones much better and cheaper.

The suitcase type stoves are handy but quite bulky. You can buy an adaptor to use the cheaper gas used with these stoves to fit a stove which has the screw type connection, which means you can use any type of stove you wish Coleman gas and all the other branded types are getting to be far too expensive.
