happy campers14
I got a tip about the door not sealing before we went camping with our Icarus 400 and so went camping prepared with 2 metres of stick on velcro! I'm really pleased I did because I imagine with the size of the gap on the front door and the strong winds, things would have got even hairier!!

You weren't at Bainbridge Ings, Hawes by any chance, as we saw someone else there with a 400 in blue, same as ours, but didn't see the owners to speak to?

Hi we recently bought an Outwell MInnesota 4.  My OH can stand up with a bit of spare space above his head, decent sized living space, 2 double bedrooms, pockets for storage.  Windows with curtains, mesh to both doors, SIG (a must!)  I know they're exepnsive but we got ours from classified ads on internet - 'Preloved' (unlike ebay the price doesn't rise).  Had only been purchased in May by previous owner and hadn't been used.  It's worth a look around.

Good luck. Jayne

we have an older stlye Easycamp taranto which is great. the sleeping pod slopes to nearly ground level but the living area is full height. Its a tunnel and easy to erect( can do it solo) The newer style has changed but I think it would be just as good.

The Easycamp Licata 400 is a modern version of the Taranto, but with Sewn In Groundsheet. I liked the Taranto, as my cousin has one, but am glad I got the Licata, because of the SIG. The head-height is superb. My DH is 6' and can stand up with ease in the living area, and in most of the bedroom,(Slopes slightly towards the back.) www.outdooraction.co.uk

I might end up getting beemed up if i take one of them on next camping trip. But on the plus side it might keep the riff-raff away. They might think we are alien's.17
