Evening camperssssssssssss...............

We are thinking about going camping for xmas and new year at setthorns in the new forest or down in devon. We have loads of winter clothes and 2 little heaters. But we have our lovely big cabanon to put it all in wooo hooo. Friends think we are mad but hey, you only get one life, so why not try it this once.... and if u don't like it, don't do it again. lol We spoke to owners of one sight in new forest and they said my boys were more than welcome to decorate a tree/bush outside our tent. lol Can't wait for my 5 yr old to ask me how santa will know where he is and where he will put his pressies. lol

But go and do it and have fun... it'll be an experience you'll never forget..... hopefull for all the right reasons!!!

Ooh, I may well just have to do it you know! Would take some convincing the OH but he'd come around eventually! Someone organises another meet, I would seriously think about putting me down.

I love the delightful idea of camping at christmas and new year.christmas must be a wonderful time for camping, especially in a nice decent camp site with a sprinkling of snow around.

I'd love to camp in a big hall actually! Okay you'd miss out on the outdoors experience but with kids it would be so much more practical, and no worry about wind etc....!

There's an advert I think on Dave channel where someone unzips their tent to get the milk from outside their little tent in a big room, and everytime I see it I think "ooooh I'd LOVE to do that for a big party like new year" but god knows how you'd organise something like that!!
