I met my husband in Colindale - we worked together there for BT many moons ago.

Approx 15- 20 mins in car for me. I told the boss man last night, he looked scared and just managed to squeak out "but we don't need anything do we ?"

been to Decathlon tonight not got much camping gear in yet looking forward to going to Go Outdoors next week.

Living down here in the west country  we haven't got anything like that!

Near me is Stowford  where we buy a few bits from the shop. Also got  aYeomans 45 mins away but only a small shop, last year they did a exhibition in  alocal field but not this year. Trelawny does a exhibition, but it's not very good. :-(

That's great news. I'm always saying we have to travel so far for a good camp shop.

I can't wait now either!!

Agreed with the local camping shops

go outdoors, yeomans, etc aren't half as good as Jacksons of Arley for choice, helpfulness etc.  A lot cheaper at Jacksons as well

the only thing they don't stock is outwells

Just a shout for your local family run camping shops... I know they have to stand on their own two feet re prices etc but most are very good on price and offer the sort of products you only get in a shop where the owner runs it.

I agree there's probably cheaper and more choice of tents elsewhere, but when you just want a browse or a couple of new bits and pieces  it's going to be great not to have to travel miles.
