Are you using a footprint and carpet with it?
I think that the use of both helps against the condensation problem. less cold coming up from the ground perhaps ? I have always used both with my sv8 and the other sig tents, in all sorts of weather, but the condensation hasnt been really bad.
I noticed that last week , when using a groundsheet under an inner tent in the caravan awning , we had a pool of water on the groundsheet under the inner tent. No rain, very hot weather all day, but quite cold nights.
the rest of the awning had a tent carpet down on top of the groundsheet but that was perfectly dry underneath.
I dont think that the carpet sucks up the moisture in the air either , because that has never felt damp when packing it up.
