Agree with all comments about how useful this is, and thank you to all who've contributed towards my questions over the last couple of years.

OH rolls his eyes whenever I start mentioning something that's been suggested on here (which is often when there's a camping jaunt approaching, like next week eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee) - but these suggestions have been invaluable.

This website is fab!! I have learnt so many great things from here. Having just returned from a camping trip, i lost count of the number of times i said " on uk campsites it said..."

As a new camper I have learnt loads! I think this site should be advertised in camping shops! I have brought loads of stuff that if I had read this site first never would have! I'm sure it will all get replaced eventually!!

See, nothing but positive comments, only wish there were more sites like this (not for camping this has it all) but for all the stuff I end up getting involved in!

I agree with diddle this site should be advertised in camping shops!

This site has helped me no end.
I would never, ever have had the confidence to go solo camping without the help and advice from people on this site.
Having an OH who will not camp ever, ever and friends who look at me aghast when I mention 'going camping', there was only one thing to do if I wanted to experience the joys of camping - go on my own . This site gave me the confidence, encouragement and 'know how' to go it alone and I have never looked back since.
I love my solo camping trips and anything I am unsure about, I have posted on here and immediately received, support, inspiration and practical advice.
It's just brilliant this site - brilliant and I can't recommend it enough.
Mindst you it's cost me a fortune!
