We started with a cheap double which had us rolling together. That developed a leak and after two nights on the floor (slowly) we bought a campinggaz (aka coleman) smart quickbed double which has a coil system (apparently). Anyway whatever it is it works brilliantly with no rolling together at all - unless intentional! This is teamed up with a coleman double bag.
The double also means that it fits well in the two person compartment of our Vermont L in which two singles would not. The children get two singles and acres of space in the 'four' person compartment - theres something wrong somewhere?
We have 2 singles held togther with a double fitted sheet. Being new to camping last year, we did this on advice of friends. It works well. However, the next time we get an airbed failure, we've already had 1, we're going to get a the double coleman with the separate cells.

Sorry Firestorm, there really is no roll together on a Coleman Double Comfort, accidental or otherwise !!
All we get is a really good nights sleep !!

We have the Aerobed double chamber air bed with a memory foam mattress topper. Works brilliantly as OH and I have very different idea's of a comfortable bed firmness.
