I too saw that programme and felt all warm and fuzzy! I loved the guy who made tents out of nylon stockings and wondered did anyone know the name of his tents as they showed a backpacking one with a rucksack pod that was great. I also liked the bit on wild camping..how many land owners would let us do this I wonder.

This year I have to say I've gone totally off the commercial campsites as people have really took to camping this year but don't know how to be considerate of others. I.e late nite drinking binges and rugby outside our tent! I'm really loving small farms of late!

I know what you mean - I have just watched it on iplayer for the 3rd time I love it especially looking at all the tents. The chap who made & still makes I think, the nylon tents is Robert Saunders of Saunders tents, Chigwell, Essex.  The name of that tent is a Saunders Spacepacker.

The one I liked the look of was the blue one with Nina something from Edinburgh Uni sitting inside it.  Really liked the look and colour of it but no idea what make/model it is.

Know what you mean - I'm not anti social & like a good chat but as a solo femail camper I know I wont feel comfortable in large rowdy campsites with drinking going on into small hours especially if they are near my tent.
