OMG Helen... *evil stare*... I'm so trying hard to resist buying this tent now lol! I'm looking for a smaller tent for Fri - Sun's away with OH who is 6'5 as our Kampa Holkham is huge. This looks pretty perfect but would it be too big still??
OH would have a fit!!
------------- Easter - Solway View Dumfries & Galloway
April 27th - 29th - Spiers House, Cropton.
May 11th - 13th Wolds Way Campsite, Malton
June Diamond - Highlands???
I bought it for weekends away and during the school holidays when I need to get out of the house with the 2 littlies (aged 9 and almost 5)
I think it's the perfect size for a weekend/small family - easy to pitch (it's the same pitching method as our larger Ontario 8), spacious bedroom pod and massive living area for when the weather is bad and we're all stuck inside. To be honest, the extra living space is the reason I bought it, as it's more spacious than my current weekender, the Licata 400.
Go on, MrsMacP - you know you want to and it IS a real bargain at £99 - it would be rude not to buy it at that price!!
Thanks for the thread Helen, bought one and it was delivered today, by the way I know absolutely nothing about tents !!!!

Ps £7 50 postage and it was delivered in two days thats pretty damn good
You won't be disappointed and it is very simple to erect. I usually start by lightly pegging down the back 2 corners to stop the tent blowing away. Then I thread all the poles through the sleeves. Starting at the end I pegged down, I push the pins into the end of each pole to form the hoop and then lay this back down on the ground. When all the poles are hoop shaped, I start at the front, pick it up and just walk frowards, as if opening out a giant concertina. Then it's just a case of going round and pegging and guying out.
There are other ways of pitching but I personally find this way the easiest.
Thanks for the tips Helen, we bought the tent for our son and he is not exactly Ray Mears but after a disaster of a year he is really looking forward to his new tent, a bottle of red and a french sunset, thanks again
