i restored my trailer last year,,but mine was wooden sides, when i first brought it ,it was only 12 inch high,so i went and brought some new angle steel to weld on the sides ,now its 3 foot high ,and boarded out with wood made a wooden top allso but find its only usesfully over winter stops the rain ,from sagging on the cover ,,,the top has to be removed as we now take that much stuff with us its sticking out of the top ,,so make sure you make your to the right hight before you think about restoring it ,,i do have pics some where on this site ,,just have a look for my postes.
you have done a great job on your trailer,,hope you have many great camping trips with it
