They'reThule Aero Bars, the same as we have on our Cruiser, there's a bike rack on there too . They do square bars but the Aeros are quieter when you're at motorway speeds.

Bought my new trailer a couple of weeks ago having bought a Cabanon. Not used in anger yet but have packed and repacked several times.
As for strapping down - don't think anything will move inside as it is packed so tight!

Can I ask... what trailer is this as I can't ID it? Looks lush! I want, no... NEED one lmao

Hi Barry,

Thanks for this - I guess my more specific question is what clamp (foot?) is used on the bars to fit on the rail round the top of the trailer?

Cheers,

Peter

Sorry, been away for a few days.
It's an Anssems GT 500 (181) they come in different lengths. The GT 750 is the same trailer but as the name suggests can carry 750kg and is slightly larger. Mine is the largest GT500 at 181 cm long (internal box length)

Yes the roof bars are Thule Aerobars with Thule feet and also Thule bike racks. I have had the bars, feet and racks for a few years and used for my roofbox and bikes. The feet are standard for any vehicle with roof rails and am just lucky that they fit my trailer too.

Not only are the Aerobars quieter you can utilise the full width of the bar as the bike racks I have slot into the channel in the middle of the bar and don't clamp around it thereby allowing you to use the section of bar above the feet.

Janiebabes - it is a lush trailer and am VERY pleased with it!
