All my dogs have camped and all have loved it. They usually get so tired during the day that they just crash out at night. When we've been out all day and half the evening, we let them out of the car and they both go straight in the tent and collapse on the bed.

I always take care that the zips are closed so that the join is out of dog reach. Every dog I've had has sussed out that they can poke their snouts on the join and wiggle it about until they have made an opening big enough to escape through early in the morning.
