happy days then i have the same problem with a trailer no were to store one at least the roof box stays on the car

I can see the fuel needle dropping as I type. Take it off when your not using it, you'll save a fortune in fuel costs-unless youve got a company car, then who cares how much fuel it drinks.lol.

Someone near us drives round in a corsa with a large roof box on all the time. Ive fitted a lid to our trailer and the roof box is mounted on there

Hi, we just spent £140 on thule roofbars at Halfords yesterday, like you said still to purchase roof box. I dont see any were in Scotland for hiring roofboxes, mostly England. Good idea though hiring.

yea got my roof box off ebay last week picked it up was in great used cond,

its a large halfords one black £47

last year i got my thule bars and feet from ebay £52

Missed out on a halfords roof box by 10 mins tonight on Glasgow gumtree for £40, but found a sight on the southside of glasgow that hire roof boxes for £25 a week, bit pricey.

Hi campervan50, its a bit out of our budget. Paid monthly,just paid £140 for roof bars, next month is last pay before travel, could not afford to pay that, maybe next year. Thanks for onfo.
