We take the dirt trapper mats from home, one for each doorway. Far more absorbant and get better with washing in the machine. Carpet is still clean after 2 1/2 years camping with a toddler/young lad.

Love our set-up and need no more tents or gear, so trying to stop looking!

We got a doormat with our Montana 6 last year, but I don't think we got a thermometer?

Checked out argos & it has nothing about a door mat so it looks like its not included in the model that this person bought  but we got one with ours but the puppy chewed it so had to buy a new one for last year then forgot to pack it

The Outwell doormat isn't worth the three quid they want for it, which is probably why they usually give them away free. They are made of a plastic/rubber stuff which wouldn't clean or dry shoes in a month of Sundays. I use one outside my tent door simply because it is in my tent bag and I am sad (see my profile photograph). Inside my tent door I have a proper doormat/runner which does the job well.

I'm starting to wonder what the deal is with this tent I bought.

Its an Outwell Toronto 600 which I bought from Argos couple of weeks ago. I tried looking for reviews but no where lists this tent and its not even on Outwell's website.

Is it an old discontinued Outwell model or New?

I noticed that the tents on the Outwell site a doormat is included but since mine ain't on there not much I can do.

Nevermind, its looks like a decent tent when I erected it the othert day to check it out.

It's a range done just for Argos - so you wont see it anywhere else :-)

Thanks all, Think I'll just get a proper doormat that'll absorb the water better when going in the tent.

Totally agree with Bob - def not worth paying an extra £3 for one. It is handy as something to have outside the tent so you can stand on something whilst taking your shoes off, but it won't clean.

Afraid not. I wish they did them, but the door mats seem to be another one of those things only Outwell do.

I also agree with Bob. The Outwell doormat is tiny and completely usless.( So is the thermometer and compass, its always 12 degrees and points the same direction.) I use the doormat to wrap muddy pegs in on the way home, only thing its good for !!
