If anyone is looking to get rid of good quality gear but don't want the hassle of selling it then your local Scouts or Guides might be very grateful to get first offer. Having just come back from a very wet weekend camping with my DD's Cub pack I've offered them my big Vango Colorado 1200 DLX as a storage plus wet day tent. I've only used it for five weeks in total but I'm unlikely to use it again given we have the TT + Oregon 800 combo, so what better place for it than a busy but hard up Scout unit? They can't necessarily use every sort of tent or equipment but it's amazing what they do need and keep to hand. Taking away thirty Cubs plus 30 parents for example needs a lot of gear!
