lovely photos were going bala next week were was the castle photos taken would like to visit
The castle is Beaumaris Castle on Anglesey, go over the Menai bridge to Anglesey and turn right, it's a lovely little town, family ticket in to castle was £11 parking in big main carpark was just £2.50 for the day, be aware tho' the carpark is just a field and was quite boggy, when we went a couple of cars got stuck! they're also boat trips from the pier to Puffin island and along the Menai straights etc, It's well worth a full day out there.
Lovely! I love a nice castle to potter around, shame my OH and kids don't I usually get them to at least one a year! We're off to North wales in a couple of weeks....might have a trip in the car if we get a wet day!
Thanks for sharing, sorry to hear you had to cut your trip short.

Nice pictures / place thanks for sharing. Did you have problems with your roofbag straps vibrating when travelling at speed?
If yes twist then when putting the strap on before tightening them up and then problem solve - if it was a problem in the first place many people with caravan awning storm straps do this and it stops the strap vibrating in windy conditions. We have kayaks and also use this method on the roof rack
Lovely photos!!!
Where did you put your daughter in the car - om top of the heap???

Thanks for the tip, it was quite wierd as when we were going we only got vibration sounds whenever we were going slowly, at speed (20mph+) there wasn't any at all. On the way back however it was the opposite, I must've done something differently. I'll try your little trick the next time.

haha that was very nearly the case! We managed to keep everything away from her seat, bungy straps come in handy! Luckily the eldest daughter decided to stay home, which also meant we didn't have to take the dog. We're already trailer hunting!
