I forgot the airbed - well hubby took it out of the cupboard, gave it to me so I put it to one side then decided to tidy up... it ended up back in the cupboard!!!
Make sure any rechargeable items are fully charged - mobiles, torches, lamps, cameras etc.
If you're taking a cool-box (non-electric) remember to freeze packs to go in.
I know it sounds really nerdy but I av made a 3 page list of what we take on a spread sheet on excel. It has made my life so much easier and I never forget anything now. Page one is what I get out, page 2 is what OH get's out and page 3 is what I can't get ready til the morning that we go such as quilt and pillows etc. I have a very big plastic chest thingy with a click on lid and in that I av everything that I need at camping but does not need unpacking and just stays in the box all the time. This makes life easier. It has lights, torches, utensils, plates, mugs, cutlery etc etc.
Much of the gear is in prepacked bags/boxes too. List is getting crossed now (and everything charged and freezer blocks frozen)....although i think i may have gone nuts on the food! One small hamper, one large tescos reuseable bag plus another full of drink and booze...oops!!
Eeek, Booze thats not on my list - better upadate it now!!!
