Oh no! After all that debate about the cooker too!
I don't want to take sides but....... tent poles go with the tent and that's the OH's responsibility! I deal with bedding, food, crockery etc (oh and booze) - everything else is up to him. (if there was a smilie that "ducks" I would put it here!). Oh wait! there is, ha ha: 
We once got to where we store the tin tent and realised we had left the keys at home! Only an hour round trip but bad enough!
Hope things go better for you second time round.

Topic: This weekend...
. Massive row ensues over who's fault it is & drove straight back to Northampton, I was so angry & couldnt even consider a b&b -after calming down, we're going to try again tomorrow in Matlock bath this time. If I've learnt one thing from all this..Do a checklist!!!
