P.S. Although the pics show her snoozing during the day, at night time she has a bed that is raised off the floor, to keep her warm. If taking the crate, we take something to boost it up a bit, otherwise we take her plastic bed (which has little feet, so the base is a bit raised):
One more tip: please never be tempted to just let your dog out for an unsupervised last pee! Our dog isn't a barker but, last year, she woke us up in the middle of the night with barking. We couldn't see anyone around, so shushed her up, then found the next morning that another dog had peed up our tent, near her bed! That kind of camper with dog we can all do without!
