Sight - the tent all tidy and all the windows and doors open to welcome the day.

Sound - horses clip cloping along a road that isn't too close, but it is so quiet that you can hear their hooves

Smell - the first time you go into the tent after you put it up, before you get smelly boys in there ;-)

Taste - eggy bread when you roll out of bed just before lunch

Touch - lying on the smooth zig in my bear lake.  I have a carpet/furry fabric phobia and this is pretty close to heaven for me.

Sight - A massive garden just outside our front door with a few other tents to look at too.

Sound - The gentle ripple of a brook just behind our tent, or the sound of waves.

Smell - Fresh air & dew covered grass.

Taste - A mug of malty coffee

Touch - The feel of the canvas as we're pitching the tent, and the warmth of the sun on my skin.

It varies throughout the day.First thing in the morning it is all that goes with sitting outside with a cup of tea, and watching the site wake up.   First of all the quiet of the site when few people are up, whispered "morning" as fellow dog walkers pass each other taking Fido for a wee.
As we are on family sites, the lovely sounds as the kids come out to play.
The smell of the countryside as I am sitting with my cuppa first thing, which then changes tot the smell of bacon.
Touch has to be the grass between my toes

Not sure if mine can be called favourites but they are certainly camping related.

SIGHT- The beauty of Britain from a camping chair

SOUND- People crunching gravel underfoot in the middle of the night when off to the loo!

SMELL- A full English (we never have a cooked breakfast at home)

TASTE- Packet mash with butter and cheese

TOUCH- The weight of the backpack on my back with our flask of coffee and sandwiches for our lunch as were off exploring our surroundings.

There are so many things that I associate with camping it's quite difficult to narrow them down..

Quite similar to everyone else really...

SIGHT - The morning sun on the mountains promising a day full of amazing adventures.

SOUND - The pitter patter of rain on the tent when I'm curled up all cosy in my sleeping bag.

TASTE - A rare Quorn bacon and egg fried breakfast (accompanied by HP sauce of course) with a good cup of coffee.

SMELL - The salmon sizzling away on the BBQ ready to be washed down with a nice cool lager.

TOUCH - A good hot shower which I always seem to appreciate more on a campsite than at home.

TOUCH #2 - Snuggling up next to my lovely warm fluffy dog.

Is it nearly time to camp yet????

Sight - row upon row of bikes and trikes gleaming in the sunshine

Sound - Listening to live bands blasting out rock n roll

Taste - Nice cold cider (and lots of it)

Smell - (Not the portaloos ) . The smell of a hundred full English brunches

Touch - Hugging my biker buddies that I haven't seen since, well, the last bike rally!

I would just like to point out that my list for C&CC Rallies and "normal" campsites is VERY different lol! Honest!
