Lucky you. Although from what I saw on the news earlier it seems a bit of a nightmare at the moment because of the festival crowd being unable to get on site.

Hope it's not disrupting you too much.

I always said that when we move there we will go on holiday during the festivals....but know what you mean about it being expensive to leave.

Lucky we live in Ryde work and school there too. we dont go near newport for about a week before festival starts!
its gone horribly wrong this year! Ferry prices go through the roof festival weekend so wouldnt go anywhere.
I hope the original posters get to the Orchards ok, do feel for them x

I've been indulging in a bit of schadenfreude. A really nasty manager at work has gone to the festival and am enjoying the thought of her being stuck in her car all night.

Very sorry about everyone else though! I hope it's less windy than here, we hardly slept last night the wind was so noisy.

Arrived here ok! Didn't,have any problems - the police had the roads sorted by this morning. Very windy though but the bear lake is standing up well. Don't envy the festival goers though. Went by the camping field what a lot of churned up mud!! It's not like that at the Orchards!! Hoping te weather will pick up!

Phew - glad you have set up okay and are not in a sea of mud. The pictures on the tv were not very pretty! I feel sorry for the festival folk.
