reserved two chairs on monday, only available at a different store (30 miles away) to my local one (1 mile away).  picked them up tonight.  one is slightly damaged and the other is missing a built-in pillow.  not happy.  it was close to closing and they were wrapped in cellophane and was told they were direct from the factory.  now i'll have to go back again to the distant store and swap them.

have also had problems in the past.  stock levels online do not match what's in the store.  was once told to keep calling back in on the off-chance :-(

Never bought online from GO, but have had experience of Yodel.

I ordered something that was supposed to be delivered in 2 days. After 5 days, no sign, so I rang the number on the order confirmation and was told it would be delivered that day or the next. Four days later, still nada, so I rang again, checked they had the address right and everything. After a further 3 days, nothing.

I rang again and they said they'd tried to deliver it but no-one was in, and they would be trying again the following day. They didn't mention at that point that they needed a signature. Despite being in all day, they didn't ring the bell but left a scrawled card so illegible I would have had no idea which of the 14 flats it was meant for had I not known the name of the courier company. After a further phone call, where they said they could not deliver on a Saturday, narrow the time down to less than a whole day, or leave it in a safe place or with a neighbour, I decided to cancel the order.

Then I had problems with the retailer and when I hadn't got a refund after 4 weeks and loads of promises, I got the money back from the bank under the disputed payments procedure.
