Nothing planned...but hope to squeeze one or two more trips in this year...Not done so bad this year...Been away once a month since early April...Weather(despite forecasts)has not been too bad for each trip...Even managed a tan on my main hols four days of scorching weather...Which made up for the rest of the "Greyish" year..

------------- Campers of the storm,Into this world are born
Off in a week or so for a long weekend meeting up with friends which may well turn into a short tour of south east then east midlands, ending up in the north west if it stays good.
Late September am supposed to be going to Belgium and Holland (not confirmed yet)
October camps will depend on how I get on with the new tent (ordered but not arrived yet)
------------- Still trying to get the packing right.
We are off this weekend to Ripon for a couple of nights and then hopefully end of September beginning of October for another trip (not yet decided where). Plenty of layers and if the site has EHU then we take the heater.
------------- May - Springhill Farm
June - TBA
July - Ty Mawr
August - TBA
Sept - Loch Ken
We was away at the begining of October last year and it was very warm indeed. Looking at a forecast the first couple of weeks in September look quite settled.
Away this weekend, then maybe next, but not sure after that. I hate the dark nights, seem to spend longer in tent, so dont usually camp after Sept. long light nights better when we take the grandchildren cos they love playing out till late.
We're off on saturday for three nights in the midlands and three nights nr Scarborough.
The next trip will be a 3-4 nighter for the scottish September weekend (3rd week). Not sure where to go but fancy it will be the east coast/Northumbria.
Two more short three nighters after that. One in October and one in late November. We have good equipment and more importantly faith lol
I will say though that we won't go if heavy winds are forecast.
------------- MAY 2017 - Loch Ken, Scotland
JUNE 2017 - Sango Sands, Durness, Scotland
AUGUST 2017 - Balloch O Dee, Galloway and Invergarry
SEPTEMBER 2017 - three brief trips
OCTOBER 2017 - hopefully one final trip before Halloween
We've got a week off mid sept - plan at moment is Cornwall, but if wet week is forecast will change it to East Sussex as SE generally drier than SW, but am now being tempted and looking at sites in France, as worried about the weather being miserable and I've had no smelly cheese this year.
Last year at same time we did Fort William area for a week, some wet weather but generally good. We needed the heater at night / in mornings though & we did no sitting outside the tent.
I'm admiring all those that plan to carry on through winter - what a hardy bunch
We hope to get away for a couple of weekend trips before the end of the season. Will be close to home as it we will be loading my grandson into the car after school on Fridays.
well it looks like a few are still up for it so we think we are going to do it again
decided yeh go not too far from home have both fan and halogen heater with us and befor we go look at the weather and see if we are taking the brand new never out the bag vermont or the old faithfull hartford for the week
Most years I've kept the camping going until mid-October when I find it starts to get a bit dreary. Another factor is saving for Christmas - it means that I have to stop before end October.
Not got any weeks left I can take but we've still got our September weekend holiday to come so will be away for that.
Planning on other trips away but not booking things till nearer the time as I'm not a fan of camping in big wind.
