Our Monty 6 (also 6 years old, bought so we could get away with 2 children after daughter died) has had the same problem. Leaking in the bed area so the underside of the bed pods flood. I've re sealed the seams, but to no avail. I think we need a new tent, she's served us well but I'm at the stage now were even a drop of rain sends me into a stress. It's putting me off to be honest.
Just been having a look on line & seen the Monty deal at yeomans but also tempted by the Hartford (family of 6 now) - there's something about our Monty though, she kept us sane 6 years ago & my heart says she's served us well, head says time to go :-(
